Every report names the tools and models it used, and the date. This page is the standing list. A report never adds a tool that is not on it.
Always asked
ChatGPT and Gemini, with live web search on and the search location set to the business’s area. The free snapshot uses only these two. The full report uses them too.
Added at checkout
Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Meta AI can be added, one uplift each. The same questions go to that tool, and its answers are counted alongside. They are not included unless the order asks for them.
Not tested
Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot are not tested. There is no permitted way to collect them, and the report says so. We do not scrape the consumer apps.
Answers come through each provider’s API. An API answer can differ from what one person sees in an app, because answers vary by account, location and time. That is why each question is asked up to 3 times and every answer is counted.
